Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery (LDRP) night shift position in Colorado requiring a current CO or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

Work in a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit in a hospital setting

Patient population includes expectant mothers and newborns throughout the childbirth process

Night shifts from 7pm to 7am

13-week contract assignment

Reliable personal transportation required due to lack of public transit in rural area

Provide comprehensive care for patients throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases

Duties include monitoring vital signs, assisting with procedures, offering lactation and childbirth education, and providing emotional support

Team-oriented environment focused on high quality, compassionate patient care

Registration may be required if majority of duties fall under Surgical Assistant / Technologist responsibilities, per CO state law

Requirements

Current active CO or compact RN license

Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required

Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS

Must complete Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) check
