Travel Nurse RN - Endoscopy in Lubbock, TX
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Endoscopy Job Duration : 13 weeks, with possible extension Shift : Day 4x10-Hour (06 : 30 - 17 : 00), weekdays with some weekends and every other weekend, call required 4 - 6 days / month Guaranteed Hours : Experience : 2+ years, with experience in Preop, Postop, and Circulate preferred License : Registered Nurse License Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have : Preferred non-smoker, familiar with Cerner and Meditech EMR systems Job Description : Perform duties in the Preoperative, Postoperative, and Circulating areas of Endoscopy.
- Ensure patient safety and provide high-quality nursing care during all phases of endoscopic procedures.- Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and other healthcare team members.
- Manage patient care independently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to clinical guidelines and protocols.- Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care using Cerner and Meditech EMR systems.- Adhere to infection control policies and practices consistently.
- Be prepared for on-call responsibilities, including weekend call, as required.
