How You'll Make an Impact
- Manage and mentor a team of quality engineers, driving performance evaluations and supporting career growth
- Lead the development and execution of quality engineering processes and testing strategies to meet project specifications
- Assess resource needs and perform capacity planning to ensure deadlines are consistently met
- Develop, enforce and monitor quality standards and procedures to ensure optimal product outcomes
- Estimate, prioritize and coordinate comprehensive testing activities and create detailed test plans
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Spectrum to facilitate solutions and continuously improve processes
- Implement metrics and reporting tools to track quality performance and drive improvement initiatives
- Support internal and external customer issues, driving resolution and escalating risks when necessary
- Function as backup for the Quality Engineering Senior Manager when required

Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience
5+ years of experience in quality engineering software testing3+ years in a managerial rolePreferred Qualifications
Capacity management planning across multiple business functionsExperience in software quality engineering within a large-scale technology environmentDemonstrated success in driving continuous improvements and process enhancements in previous rolesSkills
Ability to read, write and speak English to communicate effectively with employees, customers and suppliersProven experience in quality engineering management or a relevant roleThorough understanding of quality engineering methodologies and standardsSkilled in managing complex projects in fast-paced environments with shifting prioritiesExperience with manual and automation testing tools for both UI and APIStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to provide clear recommendationsProficient in conflict resolution and resource workload assessment for team optimizationOutstanding verbal and written communication with a clear and professional approachStrong organizational and project management skills, managing multiple prioritiesAbility to foster collaboration within and across teamsExperience leading and coordinating onshore and offshore staff to achieve team goalsKnowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologiesCommitment to adhering to all security measuresAbility to identify and implement best practices and modern technologies to enhance efficiencyWorking Conditions
