Key job responsibilities
You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, science, and customers to understand customer problems and define requirements.
You will design and build systems like large scale data pipelines, data management tools, and reporting tools. You will set a high bar for operational excellence and quality for the whole team.
About the team
The Weblab Amplified Learning team uses large scale data to enable deeper insights from experimentation. We build pipelines and data management tools to provide input data for statistical analysis of experiments, and we enforce data quality standards.
We also provide reporting data that teams use to understand and improve their overall experimentation portfolios.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience building large scale data ingestion and processing pipelines.
- Able to work with technical and business customers to take projects from requirements to delivery.
