Job Summary :
We are seeking a reliable and experienced School Bus Driver to join our transportation team. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations in a timely and efficient manner.
This position requires excellent driving skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to passenger safety.
Duties :
- Safely operate a School bus to transport students designated locations
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior
- Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure on-time arrivals
- Provide exceptional customer service to all
- Communicate effectively with passengers, colleagues, and supervisors
- Handle any passenger concerns or issues in a professional manner
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance
Qualifications :
- Valid CT CDL driver's license with a clean driving record, and Passenger and School bus endorsements
- Experience preferred
- Experience working with children or in childcare settings is a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact with diverse populations
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic

Qualified applicants will be considered for paid training . You MUST be at least 21 years old, with a minimum 3 years clean driving record.
Pre-employment drug test required.
