About The Position
Job Title : CT Technologist Job Specialty : Computed Tomography (CT) Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : 3 p.m. - 11 p.m. (Evenings : Monday - Friday).
On Call : Saturday 7 a.m. - 7 a.m. (24 hrs), Sunday 7 a.m. - 7 a.m. (24 hrs) Guaranteed Hours : 40.00 per week Experience : Minimum of 1-year experience as a registered radiology technologist.
CT tech experience required. License : Active state license with Fluoro required. Certifications : - Current R.T.(R)(CT)(ARRT) - TMB - BLS Must-Have : Experience with Toshiba / Canon CT scanners required.
Job Description : - Operate Computed Tomography (CT) and radiographic equipment and processors. - Analyze body habitus to correctly adjust technical factors and position the body correctly.
- Review physicians' orders and obtain pertinent clinical data to consistently produce high-quality radiographs. - Reduce unnecessary radiation to patients and self.
- Assist physicians during procedures, including room preparation, supplies, contrast reactions, and codes. - Schedule and complete exams, and enter correct charge codes.
Language Requirement : English proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking.
