About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : CVOR Job Duration : 12 weeks Shift : Day 3x12-Hour (06 : 30 - 19 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum 2 years, Unit accepts first-time travelers License : Must have GA or Compact license in hand at the time of application Certifications : ACLS, BCLS Must-Have : Experience in Cardiac, Vascular, Thoracic procedures;
Heart Transplant experience is highly preferred Job Description : Pre-Screen Unit : Candidates will be reviewed to determine clinical fit.
Successful candidates will advance to a final decision by the manager.- Clinical screens are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
- Rotation for weekends and holiday work is expected, with specific holiday participation outlined.- On-call requirements include typically one weekday / call every week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks.
- Floating is required as candidates may need to work in the Main OR if necessary.- Scrubs are provided.- Compliance must be complete to start on time, with potential delays impacting orientation by two weeks due to the bi-weekly schedule.
- The patient population includes adults to geriatrics specializing in the CVOR.- Unit systems utilized : Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR- Candidates need to be available to submit core items and complete / schedule labs promptly upon signing the contract to ensure an on-time start.
