Job Title : Primary Care Medical Assistant
Pay Rate : $19-$22 per hour
Hours : Rotating 12-hour shifts, including every other weekend rotation
- Monday - Friday : 7 : 00 am to 7 : 00 pm
- Saturday & Sunday : 9 : 00 am to 3 : 00 pm
Certification : Preferred, but open to non-certified candidates
Type of Clinic : Primary Care
Patient Load : Approximately 15-30+ patients per day, depending on provider
Responsibilities :
- Rooming patients
- Triaging
- Administering vaccinations and injections
- Performing lab draws (after hours if necessary, with onsite LabCorp availability)
- Obtaining patient vitals
- Performing EKGs
- Handling prior authorization paperwork
- Front desk duties as needed
- Assisting with in-office procedures
Work Environment :
- Generally assigned to work 1 : 1 with a provider
- May float or support other providers based on staffing needs
Experience Required :
- Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
- Proficient in rooming, triaging, vaccinations, injections, lab draws, obtaining vitals, EKGs, prior authorization paperwork, front desk operations, and in-office procedures
