Maintenance Technician

Title : Maintenance Technician

Location : Tipp City, OH 45371

Salary : $27 - $32 / hour

Founded in the 1930s, we are a family-owned supercenter chain based in the Midwest, known for combining grocery and general merchandise under one roof. As we continue to grow, our facility in Tipp City, OH, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and emergency maintenance (major and minor) of utility systems in a multi-craft environment, including PLC, instrumentation, mechanical, and equipment repair.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Perform Preventive, Predictive, and Corrective Maintenance on complex equipment, including 24 / 7 automated process monitoring and HVAC system adjustments
  • Conduct routine chemical testing for cooling towers and boiling water systems, making operational adjustments as needed
  • Identify unsafe equipment, recommend repairs or replacements, and support design improvements to enhance system reliability
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Planner on chemical inventory and vendor interactions, while providing guidance and training to technicians and operators

What You Need for this Position

  • High School degree minimum or equivalent, Associate's degree or technical certification preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in an industrial technician position
  • Mechanical and Electrical troubleshooting experience
  • PLC
  • Lean, SQF, and / or GMP experience is nice to have
