Role Overview :
This position will be part of the Facilities Maintenance Repair team and will be performing repair work, landscaping, and snow and ice removal activities at INDOT facilities in the Crawfordsville District including the district office complex, sub-district, & units. In this role you will safely perform mowing, landscaping, facets of building maintenance and repairs, which include plumbing, electrical, general carpentry, concrete work, parts delivery / pick up, washing buildings / windows.
Position is based out of Crawfordsville and will report to Crawfordsville on a daily basis.
Location :
This position is located in INDOT's Crawfordsville District, Facilities Department.
CDL Positions :
Candidates with a current CDL will earn an additional $1 per hour for this position. Candidates without a CDL will be given 90 days to obtain their CDL, with training provided by INDOT, and will then earn an additional $1 per hour upon successfully obtaining their CDL.
Salary :
This position traditionally starts at an hourly rate of $22.00 an hour. Salary for this position may be commensurate with education and job experience.
