Medical Surgical Acute Care 5 is 37-bed acuity adaptable medical and progressive level of care unit. All beds are private rooms.

Nurses are trained to care for medical / surgical patients. AC5 nurses primarily care for orthopedic, neuro, urology, trauma, and fracture surgeries along with general medical patients comprised of COPD, pneumonia, cellulitis, altered mental status, and other conditions.
