ENVENTION is seeking Senior Software Engineers to join our team in Huntsville, AL.
The work must be performed in Huntsville, AL.
Job Responsibilities :
- The selected candidate will be a member of a team providing software development and support to the AvMC Software, Simulation, Systems Engineering and Integration (S3I) Directorate.
- The candidate will primarily be responsible for developing applications to support components of the Unmanned Aircraft Systems.
- The applicant should be able to demonstrate the ability to support application design, development, testing, and documentation.
- Candidate will support and participate in system / subsystem design, performance studies and analyses; interpret and analyze requirements obtained / derived from customer;
review, verify and / or validate system specifications and other design-related documentation; and software design review, technical interchange and management control meetings, and configuration control boards.
Education Requirements :
Bachelor's degree and five (5) to nine (9) years experience
Required Qualifications :
- Experience with programming in C++, C# / .NET, ASP.NET Core, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience working with an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) such as Eclipse CDT or Microsoft Visual Studio
- Experience with (or similar to) development tools Azure DevOps Boards, Git, Pipelines, and Artifacts
- Experience with Linux operating systems
- Experience with Internet Information Services (IIS)
- Experience leading in Scrum methodology (Product / Sprint Planning, Backlog Management, Restrospectives, Reviews, and Daily Standup)
- Demonstrated ability to work independently throughout the software development life cycle.
Desired Qualifications :
- Knowledge of software development process, documentation, and CMMI
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- Experience with Army PEO Aviation
- Expertise in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design methods, along with familiarity with the Systems Modeling Language (SysML), the Unified Modeling Language (UML), and the Unified Architecture Framework (UAF)
