Job details Spherion Staffing & Recruiting is seeking a talented and motivated individual for a Press Operations team a Press Operator Narrow Web.

This is a DIRECT HIRE position.

• 5 : 00 pm - 5 : 15 am, Wednesday to Friday! 36.75 hours weekly!
• Shift Pay Differential in addition to hourly wage offered.
• Overtime paid after 40 hours a week; typical OT available is at least one shift per month.

Responsibilities :

• Efficient set and operation on printing UV Flexo Narrow web press machine, meeting specs in quality, safety, material and waste
• Team player, ensuring press is stocked with materials that enable focus on the art of producing quality packaging.

Working hours : 5 : 00 PM - 5 : 15 AM

Skills :

Experience with measurements and calculations; experience in the print industry

A Plus : Knowledge of and / or experience with Lean Manufacturing

Education : High School

Qualifications :

• Thinking through mechanical aspects of equipment operations and decision-making
• Effective time management on multiple long / short-term projects, meeting all related deadlines
• Good interpersonal, collaborative, relationship skills.

• Mechanical aptitude
• Experience Printing Press Operator Web 1.5 / 2 yrs.
