Location : Rochester, NY
Job Description : Soliant is currently seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join our team in Rochester, NY.The School Psychologist will play a vital role in providing psychological services to students, collaborating with educators and families, and promoting positive mental health and academic success.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct prehensive psychological evaluations to assess students' cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral functioning
- Interpret assessment results and provide remendations for educational programming and intervention planning
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to develop and implement strategies to support students' academic, social, and emotional development
- Provide individual and group counseling to students to address social, emotional, and behavioral concerns
- Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and 504 plans
Qualifications :
- Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure in the state of Rhode Island
- Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in a school or educational setting preferred
- Knowledge of assessment techniques, intervention strategies, and special education laws and regulations
