Job Title : Senior Systems Analyst

Duration : 6 months (Tentative)

Location : Quincy, MA (Hybrid)

Summary :

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Systems Analyst with expertise in supporting full system development and data management lifecycles on multiple projects.

This role will play a critical part in supporting projects across the healthcare and long-term services sectors. The Senior Systems Analyst will focus on improving business processes through discovery, documentation, and analysis, and is expected to become a trusted advisor in recommending future improvements.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical writing, data analysis, modeling, and presentation skills. Experience in Design, Development, Implementation, and Testing phases of large application or SaaS implementation projects is required, along with familiarity with SQL, ETL, EDI, and Web Services.

This individual will also be expected to offer strategic insights and recommendations to both business and technical leadership.

Job Duties :

Core System and Data Analysis Skills :

• Develop a deep understanding of the business environment, including its leadership, processes, data flows, sources, and integrations.
• Manage document and requirement traceability, ensuring alignment with business requirements and proper documentation in SharePoint.
• Lead solution design, configuration requirement gathering, and assist in developing test scripts when required.
• Provide subject-matter expertise in data requirements, discovery, mapping, and GAP analysis to improve developer and tester efficiency.
• Maintain change control within the business’s document repository, ensuring changes are reflected in source documents.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to present findings, manage risks, and track project progress.
• Ensure adherence to privacy and security policies, particularly in processing confidential data.

Testing & Quality Assurance Skills :

• Plan and execute comprehensive testing strategies, including validation of UI, workflows, business logic, and ETL / EDI processes.
• Track and resolve issues during the system lifecycle with a strong focus on ensuring data quality.
• Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance to junior team members and offering user training in core domain areas.
• Design audit frameworks and leadership dashboards to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

Required Skills and Abilities :

• Strong knowledge of business and system analysis, with experience creating requirements and design documents.
• Broad technical expertise across applications and data processes, including Java, .NET, Oracle, SQL Server, and SaaS Cloud.
• Familiarity with Jira, SQL Queries, Rational Quality Manager (RQM), and ADA compliance.
• Experience with NIST security standards and handling PII / PHI data.
• Proven experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and business analysis / data integration.
• Ability to manage third-party vendors and work within a governance structure.
• Skilled in using Microsoft Office, Visio, MS Project, and other project management tools.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Professional certifications such as IIBA, Six Sigma, or TOGAF preferred, or 5+ years of hands-on IT implementation or systems support experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in business, system, and data analysis, preferably in IT healthcare environments.
• Strong technical skills in data analysis and visualization, excellent writing and presentation skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
