Community Manager - Student Housing - Base Salary to 72k / year - Nashville, TNOur client, a business with over 100 years of history that deeply values the local community and fosters a culture of care, is seeking a Community Manager to oversee a student housing community in Nashville, TN.
The Community Manager will oversee all phases of operations for their assigned community, ensuring its fiscal and operational success, while providing leadership and vision to the team to achieve the highest levels of exceptional living and performance metrics.
Responsibilities : Oversee daily operations, maintenance, financial reporting, employee development, and resident relations.
Monitor day-to-day leasing activities in property management software.Review and interpret market conditions to recommend pricing adjustments and marketing strategies to drive occupancy and revenue growth.
Ensure proper execution of the marketing plan and provide ongoing support, coordinating with the Leasing and Marketing Manager to adjust strategies as needed.
Ensure websites and marketing materials are accurate and updated.Maintain a positive resident experience from initial contact through move-out, monitor customer service scores, and resolve resident disputes.
Manage staffing, including interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training, and developing team members for professional growth.
Monitor and enforce operational procedures and policies, recommending improvements as needed.Assist with budget development, monitor financial performance, and address financial gaps with leadership.
Ensure property operations comply with governing documents and programs.Prepare timely reports on community performance, addressing concerns and requests promptly.
Direct the Maintenance team to meet daily requirements, oversee property inspections, and ensure standards for safety, cleanliness, and appearance are met.
Oversee resident move-ins and move-outs, implementing a successful turnover plan to ensure resident satisfaction.Qualifications : 4 + years of experience in property or hospitality managementHigh school diploma or GED required;
