Germanna Community College Center for Workforce and Community Education is currently accepting applications for part-time, non-credit, adjunct faculty at the following locations : Fredericksburg Area Campus, Daniel Technology Center, FredCAT Center, Stafford Center, and Caroline Center.

The ability and / or willingness to teach online is a high priority need. Industry Certification, where applicable, in the subject matter taught, is recommended.

Construction Management : Various Topics

Apprenticeship : Classroom Instructor for Electrical, HVAC , Plumbing, Industrial Maintenance, Plumbing, Carpentry, Solar, and Open Pit Mining

OSHA Safety : OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 General Industry and Construction

HVAC Classroom Instructor and EPA section 608

Plumbing Classroom Instruction Backflow Prevention, Gas Fitter

Welding : SMAW , GTAW , and FCAW - lecture, simulation, and hands-on

Heavy Equipment Operator : Online / classroom lecture, Simulation, and Hands-on

Machining : CNC Operator, Manual machining, 3D Printing

Forklift : OSHA certification Instructor

Private Pilot : Ground School and Remote Pilot training

Minimum Qualifications Each applicant should have expert skills and experience in the subject area and a history of successful teaching experience

Successful teaching of corporate clients is a plus

Subject matter expertise, and experience in facilitating learning Preferred Qualifications Ability to teach online, and / or willingness to learn and effectively utilize online learning platforms
