A professional services firm in Florida is actively seeking an experienced Tax professional to join their staff as their new Tax Senior / Manager.
In this role, the Tax Senior / Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating tax compliance and advisory work for clients.
Responsibilities
The Tax Senior / Manager will :
- Review the Federal, Multi-National, Multi-State Partnership tax returns
- Lead client relationships on day to day tax matters supporting partners with service execution and development of extended services
- Research and consult on technical matters and special projects
- Proactively build relationships and communicate effectively with the client to provide superior client service
- Actively participate in business development efforts, including working collaboratively with partners and marketing professionals to target and build relationships with client prospects
- Manage, train, and develop staff
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications
- 3+ years of Tax Compliance and / or Consulting experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent field
- CPA and / or parts passed
- Experience working with Commercial, Financial services, Real Estate, Individual, and / or International clients
- Microsoft Excel proficient
- Solid analytical, mathematical, and research skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
Desired Skills
- 1+ year of experience in a Supervisory role
- Master’s Degree in Tax
