Title : 3rd Shift Janitorial Floor Technicians
Pay Rate : $17.00 to $20.00 / hr (Pay depends on experience level)
Hours and Days : Sunday through Thursday from 10 : 00 PM to 6 : 30 AM
Locations : Downtown Charleston (Parking free after 6 PM)
Lifting Restrictions : Must be able to lift 40 pounds. Will be required to do repetitive lifting throughout the shift including moving and lifting equipment.
Position Responsibilities : Include any or all of the following. Other duties may be assigned the by Supervisor.
- Knowledge of operating a propane buffer, super stripper, low speed, electric buffer carpet extractor, and automatic scrubber a PLUS but not required.
- Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
- Operates various types of equipment and machinery, which include wet vacuums, hand trucks, vacuum cleaners, carpet extractors, floor buffers, automatic scrubbers, etc.
- Sweeping floors, top scrubbing and buffing of floors
KAIVAC experience a HUGE PLUS! Must be comfortable running different machines to clean the campus. Candidates with NO prior Floor Care experience will not be considered.
This is not an entry level position.
