Scripps Health Administrative Services supports our five hospitals and 19 outpatient facilities, which treat half a million patients annually through 2,600 affiliated physicians.
This is a Full-Time position (72 hours per pay period), with a 12-hour VARIED shift schedule located at our Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla.

As a Care Team Assistant, you will provide excellent service to patients as a key member of the clinical care team.
- Assists patients with personal needs and activities of daily living, collects data, and ensures the patient has a safe, organized environment.
- Assists with patient care within the scope permitted and under the direction of a clinician.
- Supports the unit with a variety of patient logistic, clerical, equipment / supply, and charge reconciliation duties.
Required Certification / Education / Experience / Specialized Skills :
- Must be able to speak, read and follow instruction in English
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care provider
Preferred Education / Experience / Specialized Skills / Certification :
- Multiple patient care skills preferred
- Prefer one-year experience in health care related field, sterile processing, patient transport or equivalent responsibilities
- CPI Certification
