Senior Security Engineer - Trellix

Building off our Cloud momentum, Oracle has formed a new organization within-OCI. This team will focus on product development and product strategy for Oracle Health, while building out a complete platform supporting modernized, automated healthcare.

This is a net new line of business, constructed with an entrepreneurial spirit that promotes an energetic and creative environment.

As a Security Engineer with OCI you will be responsible for the delivery and performance of Oracle’s security solutions and infrastructure, to include end point protection and network access control security tool ownership.

• Lead the development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans, process and procedures
• Maintain global enterprise security solutions and infrastructure delivering high availability and performance
• Lead deployment activities related to new solutions and technologies
• Perform system maintenance activities
• Assess new software releases and patches, contribute to development of test plans, and develop implementation procedures and guidelines
• Lead the design and development of solution performance data collection, alarm and performance criteria and reporting capabilities
• Participate in incident, change and problem management functions
• This position will be the security tool owner working on Trellix.

Qualifications :

• Seeking over three years engineering security tool experience including but not limited to digital forensics and network access tools.
• Must have the ability to obtain federal security clearance necessary for this role which requires being a US citizen
• This position requires work from inside the United States due to security clearance
• A plus to have Encase or Tanium experience.

US : Hiring Range : from $87,000 to $178,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
