Job Summary : The HR Generalist will play a pivotal role in supporting various aspects of human resources functions, with a primary focus on payroll administration.
This individual will work closely with the HR team to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll while also providing comprehensive HR support to employees and management.
HR Support : Help with onboarding, including screening, gathering paperwork, and guiding new hires through orientation to meet company policies and legal standards.
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave management. Maintain HR databases and personnel files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of employee information.
Support performance management processes by assisting in performance evaluations, goal setting, and employee development initiatives.
Coordinate employee training and development programs, including scheduling sessions and tracking attendance. Stay updated on relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance in HR practices.
Payroll Administration : Process bi-weekly or monthly payroll for employees using our designated payroll system. Ensure accuracy of payroll data including salaries, wages, bonuses, and deductions.
Manage and maintain employee payroll records, including changes in tax withholding, direct deposit, and personal information updates.
Respond promptly to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters and resolve any discrepancies or issues. Collaborate with finance and accounting departments to reconcile payroll data and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and distribute payroll reports to relevant stakeholders as needed. General Administrative Duties : Provide administrative support to the HR department, including scheduling meetings, drafting correspondence, and organizing files.
Assist in the preparation of HR-related reports and presentations for management review. Participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving processes and enhancing the employee experience and culture.
Perform other duties as assigned by the HR Manager or senior leadership. Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
2+ years of experience in HR roles with a focus on payroll administration. Proficiency in HRIS and Payroll Systems and MS Office suite.
Strong understanding of payroll processing, tax regulations, and compliance requirements. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues. High level of discretion and integrity when handling confidential information.

The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience. The pay range for this role in the state of Colorado typically falls between $70,000 and $90,000 annually with the potential for performance-based bonuses and other benefits.
