We're seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Women's Health Services to lead our expanding women's health department in Austin, Texas.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of maternal care in one of America's fastest-growing cities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and optimize operations for postpartum care, lactation services, and related women's health departments
  • Develop and implement evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety and quality outcomes
  • Manage clinical variation to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and cost
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards in healthcare
  • Lead patient flow coordination and admission / discharge planning
  • Foster interdisciplinary communication and collaboration across departments
  • Direct nursing practice and unit operations
  • Drive initiatives to elevate patient experience and satisfaction
  • Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and financial management
  • Collaborate with administrative teams and physicians to enhance existing services and develop new offerings

Qualifications

  • BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) required
  • Current Registered Nurse license
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare leadership role
  • At least 3 years of experience in healthcare, preferably in women's health services
  • Strong understanding of couplet care and postpartum best practices
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills
