Overview

The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC) is a nationally recognized and award-winning agency that provides comprehensive planning services, protects natural and cultural resources, and delivers high-quality recreational experiences. We serve the vibrant and diverse communities of Montgomery and Prince George's Counties. We are currently seeking an innovative, energetic, and experienced Recreation / Park Facility Manager III to lead operations at our Fairland Sports & Aquatics Complex, a dynamic multi-sport facility, along with management of two additional tennis bubbles located at Watkins and Cosca Parks. As the Facility Manager, you'll oversee a large, high-traffic complex that offers diverse land and water programming including aquatics, gymnastics, tennis, fitness, community events and childcare. This is a hands-on leadership role with responsibility for both strategic planning and daily operations. You will :

• Lead all aspects of a multi-functional, multi-sport complex and two offsite tennis facilities
• Supervise and develop staff across aquatics, gymnastics, tennis, fitness and community programming
• Establish and implement operational goals, procedures, and service standards
• Oversee budgeting, revenue tracking, facility maintenance and capital improvement projects
• Collaborate with community groups, internal departments, and outside agencies
• Develop marketing strategies and public engagement initiatives
• Identify opportunities to expand and improve programming
• Participate in department-wide initiatives and special projects
