We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior HR Manager to lead our HR team in supporting airport operations nationwide.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in union environments and extensive experience supporting a workforce in California.

This role is pivotal in managing HR functions, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

YOUR IMPACT :

Leadership and Team Management :

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of HR professionals who support airport operations across the United States, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.

HR Strategy and Planning :

Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives, focusing on talent management, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.

Union Experience :

Manage labor relations and union negotiations, ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements and fostering positive relationships with union representatives.

California Workforce Management : Ensure compliance with California labor laws and regulations, providing guidance on state-specific HR practices and policies.

Employee Relations : Oversee employee relations initiatives, addressing grievances, mediating disputes, and conducting investigations as needed.

Compliance and Policy Management : Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local employment laws, updating and implementing HR policies and procedures as required.

Talent Acquisition and Retention : Support recruitment and retention strategies, collaborating with the Talent Acquisition team to attract and retain top talent.

Performance Management : Implement and manage performance review processes, providing guidance to managers on performance improvement and development plans.

Training and Development : Identify and address training needs, developing programs to enhance employee skills and support career development.

HR Metrics and Reporting : Monitor and analyze HR metrics, preparing reports to inform decision-making and track the effectiveness of HR initiatives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Eight (8) or more years of relevant experience in multiple areas of HR such as talent acquisition, labor / employee relations, compensation and benefits, learning and development, and organizational effectiveness.

California HR Experience

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS :

Master’s degree in Human Resources.

Certified Professional HR (PHR) or Senior Professional HR (SPHR).

Union HR Experience

Ability to establish strong partnerships with functional and business leaders to develop and execute on long and short-term HR strategies that directly support the business.

Innovative, future-oriented and open to new thoughts and ideas.

Willing to challenge the status quo and be a strong influencer.

Strong collaborator with effective interpersonal and analytical skills who is able to work seamlessly across countries, cultures, and organizational units required.
