Descriptive Summary
We are seeking an HOA Paralegal to become a part of our growing law firm. This position involves supporting the law firm as it represents associations in a variety of matters from covenant enforcement, foreclosures, insurance defense, collections etc.
Ideally, the candidate will have an interest in pursuing law school in the future, an interest in a legal or paralegal career, or a career in community association management.
Essential Job Functions :

- Work closely with HOA / Condo Board members, management companies, and homeowners, and work under the supervision of our team of HOA attorneys.
- Assist with HOA foreclosure litigation cases and have an interest in learning HOA work.
- Assist in referrals, onboarding clients, and other legal administrative tasks as assigned.
- Preparation of notices, complaints, liens, release of liens, foreclosure notices, collections, etc.
- Coordinate and facilitate payment plans for homeowners in collections
- Document processes, including maintaining hard copy files and electronic records

Education, Experience and Skills :
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience with MS Office
- Prior real estate experience or understanding of HOA / Condo associations is helpful, but not required.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail oriented
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with an interest in litigation and collections.
