Description :

A Ninja Instructor represents the YMCA as a team leader in Ninja. The primary responsibility is to provide a safe, educational and enjoyable gymnastics class to participants of a variety of ages. Ninja Instruction will be based on the G2N Ninja System with obstacle course training and design.

Primary function will be teaching Children ages 4 to 14 in both our preschool and school aged Ninja Programs.

Responsibilities

• The candidate will run classes to stimulate the growth and development of the participants utilizing the YMCA Core Values and Character Development Initiative
• Effectively communicate between staff, parents, and class participants
• Maintain a safe environment through the supervision of their students within the class structure
• Hours available during weekday afternoons / early evenings; weekend afternoons
• Ability to train instructors or those who have prior parkour or ninja obstacle course instruction
