Job Overview : Accurately receive product from carriers and other TCH warehouses.
Essential Job Functions : -Unload shipments from carriers including UPS, Fedex, LTL, etc. -Utilize warehouse equipment to unload trucks (pallet jack, forklift, power pallet jack, rolling ladders, etc.
Verify that merchandise received is in acceptable condition before signing for shipment -Check hardware in using Purchase Order, Packing List and TCH computer system -Transfer items and / or Purchase Orders noted to other TCH warehouses, put balance of merchandise in correct stock locations -Receive transfers from other TCH warehouses for stock and special orders -Other duties as assigned
Skills Requirements : -Good math skills and accuracy with numbers -Basic experience with warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, power pallet jacks, etc.
Able to work independently with little supervision -Basic understanding of product nomenclature -Ability to use a computer in Windows / Google based environment -Forklift certification or willingness to be certified -Favorable results from a drug screen and physical
Working Conditions : Warehouse environment subject to temperature changes. Includes; bending, kneeling, twisting, squatting, reaching above shoulder, standing, walking and occasional climbing.
Lift 10-60lbs regularly and 100lbs + occasionally.
