Provides direct nursing care including assessments, care plan, education, and evaluation for assigned patients. Performs patient duties necessary to maintain the flow of patient care as well as coordinates the delivery of care provided by other care team members and disciplines.

- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, infection control and safety.
- Thorough knowledge of chemo therapy regimens and pharmaceuticals for treatment.
- Expansive knowledge of hematology / oncology processes and practices.
- Current CPR certification.
- Superb understanding of nursing principles.
- Excellent understanding of patient / family teaching principles.
- Knowledge of Electronic Health Records(EHR) computerized practice management systems and other computerized systems (Microsoft office programs and electronic health records systems)
- Ability to prioritize and problem solve both independently and with a team.

Required :
- Current California RN license
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years Oncology experience in hospital and or office based setting required.
