Description

Interact with international customers to support export sales of an organization's products and / or services. Familiar with international variances in cultural and legal issues pertaining to imports and exports.

Familiar with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures for customer service. Interact with domestic customers, N.A & Canada.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities :

  • Partner with intercompany locations to provide export documentation, price quotations and respond to questions related to orders, whether in-house or in-transit.
  • Be familiar with export and import requirements, by country.
  • Develop healthy rapport with internal and external logistics partners, including Shipping Coordinators, Buyers, and Freight Forwarders to better support international customers’ requirements.
  • Consignment coordination.
  • Learn and support intercompany pricing policies and procedures.
  • Complete order entry, provide order status information, inventory levels, late shipment notification and coordinate or consolidate shipments for assigned customers.
  • Respond to customer communications regarding requests for information, resolution of quality or product issues, pricing, and lead time requests.
  • Provide information regarding products and promotional opportunities to customers.
  • Communicate with clients via phone and email using proper phone and email etiquette.
  • Maintain established performance levels set by company.
  • Build rapport and trust with clients to maximize customer loyalty.
  • Onsite position in our Melville office 5 days per week.
  • Occasional weekend coverage may be needed.
  • Demonstrate competency in products and services as offered by Air Techniques.
  • Continue to improve product knowledge and customer service skills.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain regular work attendance and punctuality.
  • Performs other duties, as assigned.

Work Experience Requirements :

  • 3+ years’ experience in a Customer Service Representative position. Manufacturing and Quality experience a plus.
  • Working knowledge of export documentation and
  • Dental industry or similar customer support experience a plus.

Core Skill Requirements :

  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft systems (Word and Excel).
  • Excellent people interpersonal skills and team player.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to multitask.
  • Clearly communicate and articulate via phone and email.
  • Professional attitude in following protocol and guidelines of the company.
  • Bilingual, Spanish preferred.

Education Requirements :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree preferred.

Annual Salary : $60,000- $70,000
