About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Description :

Integrated Medicine is a medical-surgical unit with a 24-bed maximum capacity that focuses specifically on at-risk patients.

This secured unit features enhanced safety features including video monitoring, ligature alarms, anti-barricade doors, and a badge-secured entrance.

Floating to other medical-surgical units is required, with the expectation of working every other weekend.

Available shifts may also include discussions for 36 or 48 hours per week during the interview.

The daily patient ratio on nights ranges from 5-6 patients.

The unit employs interdisciplinary support such as physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.

Patient diagnoses may include substance withdrawal, delirium, overdose, and altered mental status.

The unit provides specialized care for behavioral health patients and involves a variety of medical procedures and management tasks.

Essential nursing skills include administering blood products, managing central lines, and interpreting dysrhythmias.

This position requires flexibility and the willingness to float to any area as needed.

Additional responsibilities may include managing tracheostomies and wound care.
