Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty : Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Minimum of 2 years in ICU License : Valid Nursing License Certifications : BLS, ACLS Must-Have : Ability to work independently as the only ICU RN Job Description : Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a 6-bed ICU setting.
- Maintain a 2 : 1 patient ratio to ensure focused and personalized care.- Be flexible and willing to care for stepdown and medical-surgical patients frequently.
- Possess skills to assist in other units, though floating is rarely required.- Work under the supervision of the RN Director of Inpatient Services.
- Utilize Medhost electronic health record (EHR) system for patient documentation.- Adhere to the dress code of wearing any color scrubs.
- Demonstrate the ability to work weekends, with a minimum requirement of 4 weekend hours per month.Please note that this position is to provide coverage for leave.
Orientation hours will be provided upon start.
