Service Manager - Stable Mechanical Systems Company - Base Salary to 130k / year - Charleston, SC
Our client, a stable, fast-growing mechanical systems company, handling service and preventative maintenance, has an immediate need for a Service Manager to oversee the Service Team in Charleston, SC.
Our client has been in business for over 20 years, has a stellar reputation in the industry, and is continuing to grow at a rapid pace.
In this role, the Service Manager will lead a Service Team of 30 technicians and 5 administrators who are responsible for repairing and maintaining HVAC systems in commercial buildings.
The Service Manager will focus on the business aspects of the department including planning for growth, high-level customer service, creating accountability with technicians, and setting the vision for culture.
In addition to leading the team, the Service Manager will also work directly with customers, vendors, suppliers and more to advise on the KPIs and build out processes.
There will be a strong P&L component to this position.
Qualifications for this role include at least 5+ years of HVAC management experience, leading a team of field service technicians.
Candidate should have a strong in-depth understanding of HVAC and refrigeration systems, and the ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics and control circuits.
Must have excellent leadership, customer service and general sales skills.
Compensation for this position will include a base salary up to 130k / year. Also included will be a company vehicle or car allowance and gas card.
