- ASCP - Pathology Assistant

Job Details
Under the supervision of the Pathologists, this job performs gross examination of surgical specimens and assists the Pathologists in all areas except for consultation and reporting of specimens;
maintains confidentiality of patient related information.
- 5+ years of experience at grossing complex Cases and some experience as a preceptor.
- Must be able to work independently
- Two-year acceptable training program (Medical school training, such as a non-U.S. Medical School may be considered equivalent upon review)

- Required experience : 5+ years of experience at grossing complex Cases and some experience as a preceptor.
- Required Licensures : ASCP - Pathology Assistant MUST HAVE - DO NOT SUB WITHOUT
- Epic experience preferred
- Education Required - Master’s degree as Pathologist’s Assistant, or graduate form of an accredited program
