Receives, stores, counts, issues, and transacts material, products, and supplies, to support the manufacturing facility.
Will support a place for everything and everything in its place.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES :
- Receive shipments from suppliers and store materials
- Pick parts for manufacturing jobs and parts orders
- Ensure inventory accuracy is maintained by performing transactions in company’s ERP system (Epicor) to receive, issue and move material
- Act as a water spider by refilling supermarkets and delivering parts to operations
- Perform 5S and works maintaining safety standards
- Support other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS :
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment stockroom is preferred
- Basic math skills and computer skills to perform computer related transactions
- Ability to obtain forklift certification
- Ability to read, write and understand English
EDUCATION :
High School Diploma or GED preferred

- Noise level is moderate with intervals of spikes
- Required to wear safety glasses, steel toes, hearing protection and utilize other safety equipment as required while present on the shop floor
- PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and / or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
The employee must lift and / or move up to 40 pounds alone, 70 lbs. with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
