Facilitates achievement of staff role clarity, professional role confidence, and proficiency. Operates as a change agent in the practice and learning environment.

Required Experience

  • B.S.N. Degree
  • Current California RN License
  • Evidence of self-development
  • Minimum three years clinical experience in acute care setting
  • LA City Fire Card within six (6) months of employment
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • ACLS certification from the American Heart Association within 3 months of hire
  • PALS certification from American Heart Association within 3 months of hire for Emergency Department.

Preferred :

  • M.S.N. Degree
  • Clinical Nurse Specialist Certification
  • Certification in Nursing Professional Development
  • Specialty experience preferred (such as Critical Care)
  • BLS, ACLS and PALS instructor
