About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty : Psychiatric Nursing Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 5x8 Day Shift (09 : 00 AM - 05 : 00 PM) Guaranteed Hours : 32 hours per week Experience : Minimum years of experience not specified License : Valid RN license required Certifications : Relevant nursing certifications required Must-Have : Flexibility to work some day shifts Job Description : Provide acute psychiatric care to patients in a behavioral health setting.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.- Administer medications and monitor patients for adverse reactions or side effects.
- Conduct assessments and utilize therapeutic communication skills.- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and documentation.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to treatment planning.- Demonstrate strong crisis intervention skills and provide emotional support to patients and families.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and safety protocols.- Foster a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
This position requires a committed and adaptable professional capable of handling the dynamic environment of psychiatric acute care.
