Role : Lead Mainframe Engineer
Location : Remote
Responsibilities
- The engineering lead would come in to manage a team of 5-8 while staying hands on and there's a potential to grow to about 3 teams
- Skills Must have
- Advanced Experience (7+ years) in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with IBM-Z / OS Mainframe applications
Experience with :
- Mainframe development suite, COBOL, JCL, CICS, MQ, VSAM including both batch and real-time processes.
- CICS Main view, REXX, CLIST
- Proficient in FTP / NDM / File-Mover, CA-7, IBM Utilities, Intertest, File Aid, TSO / ISPF / SDSF, File Manager, Changeman, SORT
- Experience with debug tools like Xpediter
- Strong Database design and development skills in IMS DB, DB2, DB2 SQL and Stored Procedures
- Experience with IBM WebSphere MQ messaging solution
- Exposure to distributed Technologies
- Java, Kafka, Rest Web Service, XML are a preferred We are looking for both a Tech lead as well as an Engineering Lead.
