Position Overview :
We are seeking a motivated and organized Site Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of our VITA tax preparation sites.
The Site Coordinator will ensure effective service delivery, volunteer management, and a positive client experience.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage the day-to-day operations of the VITA site, including scheduling, logistics, and client flow.
Supervise and train volunteer tax preparers, ensuring compliance with IRS guidelines and VITA standards.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and facilitating a welcoming environment.
Coordinate the intake process, ensuring accurate data collection and client documentation.
Monitor site performance and client satisfaction, and implement improvements as needed.
Organize and lead volunteer training sessions and meetings.
Maintain communication with the program director and report on site activities and challenges.
Qualifications :
Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Experience in volunteer management or community service programs is a plus.
Basic knowledge of tax preparation processes and IRS regulations preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with data management systems.
Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and foster a collaborative environment.
