LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE - PEDIATRICS

SITE OF SERVICE :
- 21st Medical Group, Peterson AFB and Schriever AFB, Colorado.
- Full Time
POSITION QUALIFICATION / REQUIREMENTS :
- Degree : Certificate
- Education : Graduate from an accredited community college, junior college, college, university or vocational nursing program / practical nursing program approved by the appropriate State agency and accredited by one of the following accrediting bodies at the time the program was completed by the applicant : The National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
- Experience : 3 years of full-time nursing experience with 1 year of experience in pediatrics.
- Additional Certification : Current Certifications through American Heart or American Red Cross
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare (BLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- License : Possess a current and unrestricted license to practice as a license as a practical or vocational nurse. in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Island.
- U.S. Citizenship : Must be current U.S. Citizen
- English Language Requirement : Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate.
- Physical Capability : Shall be physically capable of standing and / or sitting for extended periods of time and physically capable of performing all services required under the contract.
HOURS :
Monday Friday, 0730-1630.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS
Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Must be able and willing to reprioritize on short notice and work on multiple simultaneous projects.
Flexible and able to work with various personalities. Team-work skills required. Time management skills required. The ability to meet deadlines in a deadline intensive environment is essential.
High level of adaptability and willingness to embrace change in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
