We are looking for an energetic, hard-working medical assistant to join our small Pediatric office. We are looking for someone full or part-time.
Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8 : 30am - 5 pm, no evenings or weekends.
Medical assistants are trained to work both front office and back office. We are willing to train the right person.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Checking in patients (confirm the address, phone number, insurance eligibility)
- Collecting copays
- Answering phones and making appointments
- Knowledge of computers and electronic medical records
- Vitals (temperature, weight, height, BP, respiration)
- Administering screens for hearing, vision, and color blindness
- Vaccination administration
- Venous blood draws
- Throat and nasal swabs
- Nebulizer treatments
- Wart treatments
- Ear lavage
Education :
- High school diploma or GED
- Certified medical assistant (preferred)
- Experience working with children
- BLS / CPR certified
