Position Overview : We are urgently seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our preschool program in New Milford, New Jersey.
This role focuses on supporting young children with disabilities, including autism, through tailored speech and language therapy.
Key Details :
- Location : New Milford, New Jersey
- Employment Type : Full-time contract
- Duration : Immediate start through June, with continuation from September to November 1, 2024
- Work Hours : Monday to Friday, 8 : 30 AM to 3 : 00 PM
- Number of Buildings : Service provision across 2 school sites
Responsibilities :
- Provide targeted speech-language therapy to preschool students with disabilities, including autism
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication problems
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement effective therapy strategies
- Participate in the development and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
Requirements :
- Must hold appropriate SLP certification for New Jersey
- Experience with preschool-aged children and special needs populations preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a school setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
