Senior Digital Designer

• Responsible for designing user experiences and interfaces for websites, digital experiences, interactivities, games, and apps.
• Ensure the creation and implementation of customized educational experiences for the digital user.
• Produce high-quality solutions through flow diagrams, graphic designs, storyboards and site maps.
• Reviewing user feedback to determine potential defects or areas for clarity.
• Working closely with Editorial, Design, and IT departments and company personnel to refine user experience and performing usability tests on software products or website features to ensure functionality.

• Collaborate with internal teams to understand business requirements and processes in relation to contextual user behavior for design proposals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand needs, prototype ideas and provide mock-ups with ongoing revisions based on feedback.
• Present designs for review and positively accept constructive feedback to maintain fast-paced design-build cycles.
• Apply knowledge of HTML / CSS and an understanding of how compositions translate to code in order to deliver best in class designs.

Job Requirements / Skills and Experience :

• Ten years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in digital design or related field.
• Fully conversant in all WCAG accessibility requirements.
• Comprehensive understanding of UX / UI as it relates to the ed tech market.
• Experience in Ed tech gaming space.
• Excellent visual and organizational skills.
• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment across multiple projects.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of all relevant industry tools and software.
• Interpersonal communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills to determine solutions to user interface challenges.
• Attention to detail and mastery of information design.

Salary Range : $80,000 - $100,000

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the expected salary range for the position. The base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors such as geographic location, experience, education, and skill level.
