JOB SUMMARY
The Corporate Controller plays a pivotal role within Silvaco’s Global Finance Department. This role entails working in close collaboration with senior management, regional account teams, and external service providers.
The selected candidate will oversee a global financial framework, consolidated accounting, and enforce procedural protocols throughout the company.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES; include but not limited to :
- Lead global accounting and treasury operations reporting to the CFO.
- Regularly participate in management meetings and oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP financial statements using the Intacct global ERP accounting system, FloQast closing and reconciliation software, and Workiva reporting capabilities.
- Manage invoicing and global revenue recognition.
- Ensure accounting policies and procedures are in line with US GAAP standards.
- Oversee HQ accounting functions, including compensation, intercompany cash management, tax review, system administration, global funding and currency exchange, payroll, and accounts payable.
- Assume the lead role managing the independent auditor and tax advisor.
- Manage financial sections of regulatory filing process.
- Other accounting, budget, and operational projects as assigned.
- Supervise cash management and short-term investments.
- Collaborate with other functions to envision and implement and improve enterprise systems
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Education and Certification / License Credentials
Minimum four-year degree; advanced degree CPA and / or MBA preferable.
Functional Competencies
- Over 10 years of tangible success in a controller or similar capacity within public companies.
- Extensive experience managing accounting and reporting departments.
- Proven track record of managing both the financial and operational aspects of a business organically and through acquisitions.
- Expertise in US GAAP public company reporting.
- Strong global cash and treasury management skills,
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Experience in formulating and reviewing internal control procedures compliant with SOX 404 standards, as well as US GAAP and US GAAS accounting rules.
- Pass a background check
- Supervisory experience
- Multi-lingual capabilities are preferable but not required)

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $185,000-240,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, and the range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, role-related knowledge and skills, depth of experience, relevant education or training, and additional role-related considerations.
Depending on the position offered, equity, bonuses, commission, or other forms of compensation may also be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
