J obDescription

As a Business Analystyou will be assigned to projects within the Product DeliverySoftware Development and Implementation Services teams as dictatedby business need.

You will work with colleagues and stakeholders toinvestigate and model business functions processes informationflows and data structures using a range of business analysistechniques.

Your input will be utilized in the development andenhancement of a client facing product implementation of new clientbusiness data analysis and review of existing business andprocesses.

This position is fulltime in personin our Sacramento CA office and will report to the President.

JobDuties

CurrentState Analysis :

• Coordinate with legacysystem users / subject matter experts to understand the currentstate.
• Document existing processes andprocedures and prepare meaningful and easily understood processdiagrams using standard diagramming software such as MicrosoftVisio.

Future StateAnalysis :

• Coordinatewith business stakeholders to document and ensure businessrequirements processes / workflows use cases user stories and keysystem capabilities are created and stored in a shared environment.
• Keep developed documents current as part ofthe implementation process.
• Analyze processesand recommend improvements for architecting new processes whichwill address identified gaps and increase process efficiency andeffectiveness.

Testingand QualityAssurance :

• Develop usecases and user stories as a key communication tool between thebusiness and system delivery resources.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and projectmanagers to prioritize use cases / user stories to support a phaseddelivery implementation.
• Partner with businessstakeholders to develop business cases and project charters.

Training & SupportDocumentation :

• Maintaincomprehensive documentation of system configurations changes andprocesses for reference and training.
• Assistin enduser training and support of the delivered solution.
• In partnership with the Client Education teamassist with the creation of job aids user guides and / or additionaltraining and support collateral to support the tobe implementation.

IssueResolution :

Partnerwith stakeholders and delivery partners to track investigate andresolve systemrelated issues.

Perform other duties as assigned bythe projectmanagers.

RequiredQualifications

• Bachelors degree in computer scienceor information systems from an accredited college or university
• 35 years of experience as a functionalbusiness analyst for CMMS or EAMrelated projects preferably acrossmultiple hardware and software platforms
• Ability to work independently as an individualcontributor on complex largescale cloudbased applications
• Demonstrated success documenting anddelivering CMMS / EAM IT implementation projects
• Demonstrated proficiency in businessprocess / workflow automation
• Previousexperience preparing business cases or writing project deliverablesincluding functional requirements technical memorandums userstories and requirements traceability matrix
• Excellent written and verbal communicationskills with technical and nontechnical stakeholders including theability to effectively communicate with internal staff and externalcustomers
• Strong analytical and problemsolvingskills
• Ability to work collaboratively withcrossfunctional teams
• Ability to work underpressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to workindependently and carry out assignments to completion withinparameters of instructions given
• Attention todetail and commitment to delivery highquality results
• Highly organized
• Experience with data analysis and migration

Preferred :

• Prior project delivery experience
• Knowledge of municipal utilities and / or publicworks
• Understanding of relationship databases

Salary range of $70000 $80000 peryear based onexperience.
