We are seeking a detail-oriented Front of House Manager who thrives in managing comprehensive front of house operations, from overseeing daily service to handling inventory and scheduling.
This role demands a proactive leader who can maintain high standards of service and efficiency.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee all front of house operations, ensuring all guests receive exceptional service that aligns with our brand’s standards.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that increase operational efficiency.
- Manage staff scheduling, ensuring all shifts are covered and staffing levels optimally support service demands.
- Conduct regular training sessions with front of house staff to maintain high standards of customer service.
- Manage inventory of supplies, including linens, utensils, and bar inventory, ensuring that the restaurant is well-equipped for daily operations.
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the dining area, ensuring all areas are clean and organized to provide a welcoming atmosphere.
- Handle the resolution of customer complaints, ensuring all issues are addressed promptly and with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Kitchen Manager and other senior staff to synchronize service and promotional activities.
- Analyze front of house operational costs and identify strategies to optimize profitability.
- Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Prepare reports on customer satisfaction and front of house operations for senior management.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a Front of House Manager or similar managerial role in a high-volume restaurant.
- Exceptional organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to oversee multiple aspects of front of house operations.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of building strong relationships with staff, management, and guests.
- Ability to effectively manage inventory and scheduling.
- Proficient in restaurant management software and MS Office.
- A commitment to continuous improvement in all areas of front of house operations.
- A hospitality management degree is preferred but not required.
