The Temperature Controls Sales Representative will have the opportunity to sell building automation systems and products to commercial and industrial clients backed by world-class technicians with an unsurpassed reputation in the Salt Lake and surrounding area.
This is a unique opportunity due to the extraordinary current customer base while also experiencing customer growth and expansion.
While the right candidate will be challenged to increase customer volume, he / she will also have access to a sizable list of current clients.

The Temperature Controls Sales Representative will take initiative in the sales process, demonstrate commitment to customer service, show passion in striving to be the best and convey enthusiasm for the organization with a Can Do and Never Give Up attitude.
Job scope and responsibilities include the following :
- Estimate and sell new construction, retrofit, repair and replacement automation projects
- Maintain relationships with existing customers and work as a team player with the members of the team
- Provide knowledge and consultation developing automation system solutions for the customers problems, including financial and performance-based solutions;
use cold calling skills to schedule appointments with new customers
- Must be organized and possess good time management skills to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
- Consistently discovers customer needs and current market opportunities; assembles and coordinates sales team as needed for customers and projects
- Identifies potential opportunities with existing and new customers
- Converts leads into opportunities by identifying the appropriate sales course of action
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree in a technical or business discipline preferred or equivalent experience
- 1 to 3 years of sales experience in a related business preferred with a proven, verifiable, successful record of accomplishment
- We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must have excellent people and communication skills and the ability to persuade and close sales
- Capable of handling a variety of situations encountered during sales processes
- Excellent communicator, results-driven individual with great organizational skills
- Detail-oriented, problem solver
- Must be willing to travel on a regular basis
- Knowledge of Excel, Word & other Microsoft Office products
- Knowledge of various HVAC mechanical and controls systems
