We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join a leading electrical contracting firm based in Downers Grove, IL. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a well-established organization known for delivering high-quality electrical solutions across a wide range of commercial and industrial projects.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical construction projects, including labor, materials, and subcontractor services.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to develop a complete scope of work.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify requirements and ensure accurate bids.
- Evaluate vendor and subcontractor proposals for cost effectiveness and compliance with project requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of current market pricing, industry trends, and new technologies to support competitive bids.
- Assist in project handoffs by communicating detailed estimates and scopes to the operations team.
