Job Description

The mission of the Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Inspector General (OIG) is to protect the integrity of HHS programs, as well as the health and welfare of beneficiaries served by those programs.

This statutory mission is carried out through a nationwide network of audits, investigations, and inspections. By conducting independent and objective audits, evaluations, and investigations, OIG provides timely, useful, and reliable information to Department officials, the Administration, Congress, and the public.

This program objective is to deliver a new complaint and case management and collaboration tool that will meet industry performance standards, offer the necessary redundancy and contingency features to meet OI's needs, and provide state-of-the-art technology enhancements to improve user experience and minimize service disruption.

The ISN HHS OIG Case Management - Project Manager will lead the effort to replace the current OIG case-management system / environment with a Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) System that will technically modernize and reengineer OIG's complaint and investigative management processes.

The case-management tool shall leverage commercial 'best practices' and are built on COTS solutions and support case-management functions.

Qualifications

Experience both managing contract / vendor deliverables and managing a vendor's project schedule for a State Government system CRM implementation.

Bachelor's Degree (BA / BS) - May substitute four years of applicable experience for degree.

Demonstrated ability to excel in a team setting.

Strong experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications / Experience (in Addition To The Above)

PMP certification or equivalent project management experience.

Prior consulting experience in a national or regional consulting firm, experience working in / with the public sector, relevant independent consulting experience, or prior employment with a software vendor.

Preference given to candidates with experience with projects focused on eligibility, systems development and implementations, Health and Human Services (Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, Child Welfare, Child Support, etc.

and / or Medicaid program operations and / or policy.

Must pass ISN pre-employment screening, undergo government suitability investigation, and be approved by customer for performance on contract.

Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
