Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably with a technical engineering focus
  • 3-5 years of experience in working with various sales channels to support sales objectives and strategic plans set forth by upper management
  • Utility Market and Utility Sales Knowledge
  • 2-5 years of experience in managing a sales channel, department / and or manufacture reps
  • Possess excellent verbal and written presentations skills in both the face to face and virtual setting
  • Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Strong communication and customer service skills required
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required
  • Must be able to deal with a large volume of work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment

Responsibilities

  • This position is responsible for streamlining the sales channel for end user utility and commercial / industrial customers to include training and managing the sales channel
  • In addition, the role is to manage, support and generate new business and ensure sales targets are met
  • NSM will work with our Manufacture Reps, Partners, Distributors, Utilities and internal teams in the assigned area to successfully meet this objective
  • This multifaceted role involves driving sales growth, expanding our sales channels, and overseeing our manufacturing representative team
  • As an NSM, you'll be at the forefront, taking charge of proposals and quotes, and managing a bi-weekly opportunity pipeline
  • Your role will sometimes extend beyond office boundaries as you conduct in-person customer visits across North America
  • Attendance at regional and national tradeshows will also be part of your responsibilities, giving you the chance to network with industry professionals
  • Central to your role is collaboration; working closely with peers across various functions to ensure coordinated efforts towards achieving our revenue goals
